Default Rear seat back removal on CQ's.....

Whoever did it, did you have to unbolt the 4 phillips screws that go in the side or is there other way. The ones on mine are so tight in and even with the propper size screw driver they won't budge, I'm afraid to strip them.

Any other way to remove it?

Default That's how I took mine off when I had too.... word of caution on subframe...

removal...make sure the car is on good jackstands, the force it will take to break bolts from welded nut might make 2 things happen, both are bad!
1/ the welded nuts will break from the subframe and the nut and bolt will just turn & turn.
2/ the force will knock the car off the stands.
Use lots of Rustblaster for at least 8 hours before taking on subframe bolts.

I have actually had to use a socketed screw driver and a breaker bar. Then its easy as pie :-)
