Default Replacing clutch master & slave soon (this weekend?)...some questions (CQ).

I know where both are and the physical replacement doesn't look too bad. However, I am not sure how to bleed either of them. I've replaced and bled brakes before, but I'm not really sure how to bleed the clutch system. Any advice on the clutch bleeding procedure? Do I need to pre-fill the cylinders like you do on new calipers?

Also, I just replaced my rear calipers, so the whole brake system needs to be bled. Should I do the clutch and brakes at the same time? Or should I do the brakes first and then the clutch?

Thanks,

In this order for bleeding

brake master cylinder
porportioning valve
right rear
left rear
right front
left front
clutch slave cylinder

bleed the clutch the same way you do the brakes.

Default Thanks Ben...a couple more questions.

Do either the clutch slave or clutch master cylinder need to be pre-filled with fluid (like a brake caliper does)?

Does only the slave cylinder need to be bled, or do I need to do the clutch master cylinder as well?

Thanks again,
Scott

because there isn't a bleed valve IIRC. I didnt fill my slave with fluid and it works fine. But fill it if you want to be safe as it won't be hard to do.
