I just bought some shocks for the front seeing as mine are done at 190,000km. Have not done this before and was wondering if anybody had any info on how to swap the shocks into to strut? Its on a 94' 90 quattro. Thanks in advance.

i removed the strut assemblies from the car and took them to a local shop. They swaped out the shocks for the cost of a soda and a pack of cigarettes.

Might not be an option on a Sunday, but...

Made my day much, much easier!

If you've got a massive set of vice grips, you should give that a try.
