Should a set of rubber control arm bushings last more than 15 months ?
Even after a rallycross and autocross ?
Seems like a short lifespan. Will bad alignment or a dead strut kill them faster ?
I don't think they are completely dead, but they are certainly a little sloppier than they should be.

Re: Rally? Short life.. even with regular driving sometimes
On the V6 i noticed that the downpipes are only an inch or less away from the control arm bushing (one of them) on each side. This is the one that i pulled out by hand when i R&R mine. I created a heatshield to hold off some of that heat and a dust blocker to prevent salt and other road sh*$ from drying it out.
If you do autocross and/or rally you should invest in those "special bushings". They might last a bit longer. Saw them somewhere but can't remember.
