Here's the pic of the 2 part seal system consisting of a precision o-ring to fit between spherical bearing and mount and a 24mm press-on nut cap.

First blow out any dust/debris in bearing with compressed air or a soft bristle brush then:

Left of pic: Press o-ring over top of bearing

Middle of pic: If bearing is mounted in car slip o-ring over strut nut.

Right of pic: Once nut is tight just press nut cap over 24mm nut. It is such a tight precision fit on the 24mm strut nut it will retain the o-ring in the groove below.

Even high pressure water from a self-service car wash can no longer get past the seal this provides.
