Default pay attantion to the old style sway bar mounting hardware, on control arm.

Late style cast arms had drop links attached to the struts.

that would be why the arms look beefyer than normal B4 cast arms. I wonder what the sway bar setup looks like on those cars though?

Default its gotta be rear, but I thought even the rears had late style bars...go figure...

I think Europrice Alex may know more about this.

Default hmmmm...

The rears in my B4 had stamped arms, the sway bar setup would also not have linked like that. There are actually no ball joints in the rears of the B4 Quattros.

Default Those are from an RR Urq...

Note the rubber bushing in the control arm near the ball joints...

Using 4kq style links for the front sway bar instead of the later B4 series strut mounted ones..

A buddy of mine is putting an RS2'ed 3B into his 84 URQ, and he sourced these very control arms new from VAG Parts in the UK....

They may have been pulled from an RS2, but that doesnt mean that they were the intended factory application, right?
