Default sticking in first gear

3 times in the past 2 days, i had to apply more force than is good to my shifter to get out of first gear. is it new clutch time?

also, thanks to some dickweed in my complex, i now need new headlights. i found the euros (B3) at importvision for 150, any better deals out there? better headlights?

also, what is the actual name for the combination switch which provides voltage to the headlights which goes bad? mines pretty much gone and i dont know what to search for on the internet.

thanks guys.

oh yeah one more thing...
absoluteCQ's guide to rebuilding a power window motor is excellent. i need to do this, but i have a sedan 90. does anyone know the part number for the front driver's window motor rebuild kit? he provides the numbers for the cq windows. thx again

Default don't need new clutch

You definitely don't need a new clutch.... i've shifted transmissions when the clutch had failed and all I could do was power shift. What your looking at is either a messed up shifter linkage, or something wrong internally in the transmission.

Not much of a better deal than $150 for a pair of new headlights...OE would cost 2-4 times that.

get the car up on stands and replace the oil soaked "bushing" that connects the shift linkage to the transaxle - runs perpendicular to the midway point on the front doors(approx.)
