Stupid sensors. replaced the big water temp sensor..
Didnt fix it, so gonna do the smaller one behind the radiator tomorrow if the parts place can get it before tomorrow night. On an up side its warmer out so the car will start And i was able to sand down the front wheel well corners to reapply some rubber sealer, should slow that back down a good bit. and looks prettier.

not sure what your running problem was but the large sensor is for your dash's heat gauge and for the warning lamp. the smaller whte 2 prong is the important one, if that fails it can screw up enrichment and the ecu and cause flooding. I had that sensor die on me once and the car would barely move.

well just replaced a grey sensor in the bottom of the rad.
Fixed teh fan constantly running, but when does it run on slow now?
Also still have a slight hesitation, so i will be pulling the codes again...Idles much much better but still not perfect hopefully i get another sensor code. we will see. Buy hey, parts seem to be getting cheaper as i keep going to the parts store.

fan speed 1
Fan should do first speed after car has been run and ignition switch is off...engine compartment temp over 190 F or so, can't remember the exact number. Anyway there is a relay on the aux panel that controls it and a temp sensor near the intake manifold that has only 1 wire on it. To test it, turn ignition on then off then ground the wire for that sensor, fan should be on low speed for the next 10-12 minutes or until you take that wire off ground. If it does not, check relay, wiring, etc.
