Default Was there a post recently or one in the archives about repairing a tach?

My tach isn't working on one of my cars and I thought I recently saw someone mention a way to repair this. Something about the board being broken or something. Can someone help me out. I've searched the jedi archives and can't find anything about bring a tach back to life.

I've got an extra one, if they are the same between the CQ and a 12valve.

Oh, it's not the tach that's broken. It's the circuit board, I thought I could repair it somehow.

If board itself is broken I can't see how would you fix it. If circuit board lines are separated I guess you could fix them with soldering iron....do you know where exactly it is broken?
