its possible.
I'm starting to think that that is the culprit of all my suspension woes too because you and I have the same setup with the Vogs and Bils and my front end is driving me nuts.

perfectly normal.
You would see a lot of fluid out if they were blown. But test them....press the shaft in and see how fast, if at all comes back up. If comes up fairly quick, its good.

not good either.....
it needs to have pressure so that when you go to compress it by hand its not that easy to do and it also must come back up fairly quick. Sometimes they also seize that you canot even press them in (BTDT) and that is replacable by Bilstein's warranty.
