top problems

When I want to open the top, the 1st part works fine, then the back were the top is folding do not open entirely, it doesn't go up , and I have a red blinking signal on the dashboard.
Any thoughts?

Try locking and/or unlocking the trunk.

If that doesn't work then there is a harness in the trunk that loves to cause electrical problems

You should get it scanned, the convertible top with set a DTC

find someone with a VAG COM, pretty sure they can do it.
