trim souces dried up?
It would seem sources for the notorious lower trim have dried up.
blau no longer stocks the kits and worldimpex, using the PN's does not show anything.
yesterday a plastic wedge fell on the ground. I can't for the life of me figure out how or where this thing actually goes in but my trim is looking crappy of late.
3M makes industrial double stick tape but its basically permanent and I am not totally keen on that just in case.
The last chance probably is the dealer at some killer prices, that or a junkyard but it would have to be from cali to be in any type of decent condition.
any wholesale sources exist?

genuinevwaduiparts has them at a better price than dealer retail.
pieces 5, 6 and 7 are the lower trim for the front door.

genuinevwaudiparts

well
vagparts has the 80 avant but does not seem to have the B4 lowers.
genuinevwaudiparts, unless they have changed the #'s a search pulls up nothing.

sweet
no kidding, they do have just about anything you want including the trim, even the clips, original side mirrors, etc.
its not cheap but nobody would expect these hard to find parts to be anyways.
least somebody has this stuff and seeing how the B4 is going on 15 years now any source is good.

Here is an email I got from Craig - the guy at genuine
"Of course. If it is available from Audi, it is available from me. If you don't see it on our website, shoot me an e-mail with exactly what you are looking for and I'll get back to you with pricing and availability. Let me know how I can help. Thanks for the inquiry.......Craig"
They are an Audi dealer so if it exists at Audi he can get it. The contact is on their web-site. He got back to me within a few hours.

Re: well
They don't list too much on the site, you need to call/email them - they order direct and pass on the savings to us :-)
Can be slow to respond to the emails....they get lots of them....on this side of the pond they are very well respected and know their stuff......

I like this place
I sent them an email about an A6 OE cup holder I need but did not see it on their site.
Hopefully they can round it up.
I already have a few things and the shipping is reasonable, way better then worldimpex.
