Undertray
Can somebody with a 93 90 Q tell me how their undertray/bellypan is held in place? Is their attachment points on their cars the same as on a 91 20V CQ? 2 threaded lugs on both sides in the wheel wells where a combination plastic nut/washer are used and 3 threaded locking washers (metal sheet screws used here) on a metal bracket stretching across the bottom of the car. If so, can you tell me if you have 2 vents at the rear of your pan? I think the purpose of the vents is to direct cooling air to the cats. The reason I ask is that a ham-fisted mechanic cracked the belly pan on my car changing the timing belt. He says that a 93-95 90 belly pan will fit on my car. Ops anyone?
Thanks

But, at least you have one. I noticed that mine is missing, item 2, and the ONLY garage to have my car is the MAIN DEALER. I've spoken to them about it, but hey get this.... they can't find one in the work shop. Another thing, I don't exactally look under the hood that often and so it's been missing for over 3 months, maybe longer. That's how they are trying to get out of the situation, the service guy said <i>'... well they can come loose since they are only clipped in...'</i>, yeah right, load of lies, and I think I would have noticed! I'm still waiting for this to be resolved.

Here's a pic of the underside of my '95... part of the tray is visible up front... think it's the same, but didn't check part numbers.
