Update on 2004 Audi 1.8 Quattro sold on eBay for less then $1000
Hey guys, here is what happend with this auction.
As you all know by now I won this car for less then $1000
I asked the seller where is the car located now.
"IN UK LONDON"
"Where are you from and what is your best offer for my car???
waiting.....i will come personaly if you are from Europe and we close the deal!!"
After the auction was over I email him asking him to send me pictures of the car he has for sale
"yes the actual pictures of the car...whats is your best offer??"
"5000GBP"
I told him that I would pay 5000GBP for this car and that I have some friends in London that would pick up the car. I also send him the link to that dealer who has the car listed online, and asked him to send me pictures of his car.

"That is my car....i bought it from US..... "
Note that the car was listed on eBay as Right-Hand drive and all the info were cut-paste from that web site.
Today, I received this email from eBay:

Um, not to be a dick, but, um, how'd you expect to buy an '04 A4 for under $1000? You actually...
...thought it was legit?
$1000 for a B4 is one thing, but a brand new car?

Maybe I am just a little slow sometimes, but I really just want to understand this...
so this guy sells a car that he doesn't own on ebay but wants to close the deal outside of ebay? So what, you send the money and never hear from him again?
