Default update on my cq

It's time for an update....

I feel soooo dumb.....I was way over thinking about how to mount this bumper. All I did was set the euro bumper in place and then use to floor jacks to hold up the bumper and wiggle the bumper up and down to get the top mount bolt to scratch the body and then drill the hole for the top mount bolts. You dont have to drill a hole for the bottom bolt because of the hole for the bumper shocks. All I have to do is wait for the upper side bumper brackets and do final adjustments to get the bumper straight.

Looking good so far!

I had to drill a new hole to mount the upper side of the bumper because the bumper holes didnt line up with the stock holes for the bracket.

And now the money shot 8) sooooo purdy! I'm surprised that the car now doesnt seem so boged down then when it had the heavy *** stock bumper on there. If I had to guess the stock rear bumper weighs about 45 lbs.

I finished the center console trim pieces in flat black and then clear coated. It turned out a lot more shiney that I expected, oh well.

My euro license plate holder came in the other day. Heres a before and after pic.

I'm really happy how it turned out. I think I'm going to paint the inside part (where you attached the license plate to) because you can see a lot of scratches from the euro plate that was attached to it and it looks bad.
I tried something different this time around to paint it black because I didnt like how the flat black turned out on the trim pieces. Believe it or not, I just only used black primer and clear coat.

Look at all of the real c/f trim pieces 8) , aint it beautiful!? I soooooo like it more then the wood. Click on pics to view full size.
