Oh good, I'll just click on all the users until I find the right sig.... ;-)
I get a slight leak on the front left corner and can't get it to stop so I need to try some sealant.

Toyota sealant
The stuff from Toyota is called "pig" nicknamed for FIPG (Form In Place Gasket). The stuff works well, we used it to seal up a Ford 9 inch rear end in our race truck. But I agree if you use the stock setup it doesn't usually leak.
I sometimes put a small drop of high temp silicone in the front corner areas where the gasket goes up and over the cam cap. Probably not necessary but it makes me fell better

Anything
That has a medium consistency will work.
Yamaha and Suzuki both have products that get a lot of good press. But I'm sure it is most likely a Permatech product relabeled.
A thin product like that for a waterpump will be too thin. An oil pan gasket former will be too thick. Try for something in the middle. Not a "form a gasket". Those have a lot of body to them and wil just clot up the rubber seal and probably cause more leaks. Use a generic 100% silicone gasket "sealer".
Permatech is as good as anything. I got used to their blue high temp sealer. I used to use it on the Mazda race motors and it did take the heat just fine and was a good consistency to work with.
