Wanted to buy.... Rocket is mortally wounded
I visited EMKay last Saturday, and offered him a quick blast around the block. It was a torrential downpour, and the car ran like *(&^. It stalled once, and trying to start it, I had the impression it was fighting the compression. After limping back to his house, I waited a short while, then set out for home. It ran better as I went along, but still not right.
When I got home I noticed it had consumed around a quart of water, hmmmm... It has always used water, but not like this.
A couple of days ago, I decided to fire it up and see how she ran. It was much better, but it didn't have the jump, I am used too.
I had been too busy to check the head studs, since the rebuild, so I decided it was time. It only takes a few minutes to get the vavlve cover off, but as soon as I did, I saw the telltale signs of water. Petroleum based oils get milky with water, synthetics get a gray cast to them, plus there was a smudge of milk on the underside of the cover.
I hoped that a stud or two was loose from break-in, but no such luck they were all tight. So it appears that I have a warped head/block. Tomorow, I'll do a compression check, but I think the writing is on the wall.
Just before I bought the car, Alex had run an event, and ended up retiring with a blown head gasket. The motor was rebuilt, where it got the new 14:1 pistons, but I think it never really was right since. It probably couldn't handle the higher compression for that long, and it blew through.
So, I am looking for a 20V long block, to get a straight head, and block. I don't need any bolt-ons, but a low mileage setup would be preferred. Something with a decent history. If anyone has any leads, drop me an email.

Howdy! I know Semple over at Force 5 Auto has a _new_ 20v 7A head, still in it's bag, probably not cheap. He may also have some used bits for you, maybe an entire engine.

I have one I can sell you. It's not low mileage, but the head's been rebuilt...
...It's in my 20v parts car. The catch, you gotta come get it. I'll help you pull it, but you'll need to haul it. Let me know if you want it.
