Default Water leak update...

I posted last week about a water leak in my CQ. It seems to drip pretty rapidly from the trim around the top of the windshield, during heavy rain or during a good washing. I have completely ruled out the sunroof by testing and seeing that the floor isn't wet in any other places except from what is actually dripping off of the windshield.

So now to my question, I have noticed where the VIN is behind the windshield, it looks like the data tag is suposed to appear behind the clear spot in the window, mine is half-way hidden by the black part of the windshield. I think when it was installed it must have slid down and exposed a hole on the upper seal. Is it possible to remove these windshields without breaking them to reseal?

Thanks again,
Paul.
