so what, the drivetrain will bolt up to the car, and if the engine isnt toasted, can put that in too...but, if the title is clean, it may be better to swap your good panels onto the 20v and go from there...i'd get it personally, if i wanted that sort of project.

EDIT: it is a salvage title, so swap the driveline into your car. only question i have is about the rear floor pans, may or may not be the same. if they arent, you can always put the 7A in your FWD 90...

Default That body is wrecked. Forget about it. The apron is so bent on that car that It would cost you...

a lot to straighten it. I fixed my 80 this past summer. Let me tell you how much of a pain it is to align those panels. The fender bolts up to the apron, you know that thing that is crushed on that car. You also are looking a a car that may no longer have a straight body.
The engines are swappable. The drivetrain would be difficult you would have to install all the control arms and everything. I would bet you would waste your time.
I bought my car totalled for $400. Salvafe yards get them for about $50 maybe $100.
The car woule be worth it if you could use the engine. and the parts are good, not the body.
I would recomend looking for a 90 or 80 quattro with at least a solid body around you. I could promise you that it would be cheaper and if you want swap the engines.

Look how the car has a drivers dash with the cubby hole, but I wish it was black. I would give you $45 for the cubby and the center gauges. Maybe more?

If you could get the car for not much more it would be worth the parts. I would if it was anywhere near SC. Good luck.
