What's the ability/possibility to repaint faded Porsche calipers? I would like to retain the white

Default What's the ability/possibility to repaint faded Porsche calipers? I would like to retain the white
Porsche script and I don't intend to DIY.. would rather pay a professional and have the colour & finish come out properly.

Just paint over everything and then buy new Porsche decals.

Why not DIY? Brake caliper paint is cheap and spraying is easy. Save your money.

Default The ones from the factory or aftermarket are powder coated. Need to pull the caliper off to do it
The only paints worthwhile for DIY are the two part epoxy paints - these will not wash off in spray or can take hard use of the brakes. They also are not susceptible to brake cleaner spray.

I painted mine with ~$5 cans of caliper paint from FLAPS and they are still sweet 2 years later.

yea.. just this evening I had thought about powder coating. trouble might be matching the same red?
