WHT THE HELL IS THIS DAMN RATTILING?!?!
I noticed my 88 90q has been making this rattling sound of and on whenevr it feels like rattling. The sound is coming from inside the crank case or near it. The rattling is especially loud when cold. Is this that plastic distributor thing i read about. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks jordan jaussi ...

I have a similar noise which comes & goes. Probably heat shielding around cats, or....
cats/exhaust piping itself. In any case I'm not too worried. I have other problems to worry about, and so I'll track it down at some other time when the noise returns.
