fix the instrument cluster on my dash.....

tachometer doesn't work and engine temp guage works every now and again...and...

when my car's on but not running, just the engine light comes on and when i'm driving at night with the headlights on, the seat belt/oil temp light flickers and dims on and off....and the engine light on occasion comes on and off...

get back to me with ideas/solutions...

had the same problem as you, would on and off. I replaced, works nicely now. Pretty easy to do yourself.

cause i remember that a mechanic told me that he got the temp gauge and the tachometer working manually...or something

Sounds like a high resistance ground connection.
