No,I raced few 20V quatros I am faster on take offs but loose due to qiuker acceleration in quatro!

Default Now thats some funny $h!t....A properly launched 20vq will eat an 8v 4cyl auto for lunch.
I used to have an '88 90 4cyl myself, along with an '87 5ks (auto), '87.5 5ksq, and the CQ.

Most people will not "abuse" their quattro enough to get a hole-shot on a 2WD car. It takes a fair amount of revs with a lot of clutch slipping/modulation...

And I'll rape you any time on the take off's - Well right after I'll fix my O2 Sensor!

You are right on one thing it all depends on the driver and his driving stile!
