A1 MMI screen connection problem
Hello,
the Kessy unit on our 2016 A1 (S1) failed.
We took it to a garage who replaced it and immediately on collecting the car we found that the MMI screen has a loose connection. The screen (but not the sound) turns off and on when you drive over a bump. Its never done that before.
We asked the garage to check for loose connections and they have said they only went behind the glove box and under the seats and didn't go anywhere near the MMI screen whichhas coincidentally failed while with them and needs replacing.
It looks like a loose connection to me.
Does anyone know where the wiring goes?
Is there anything behind the glovebox which could cause the screen to flicker on and off with vibrations?
