A/C - error messages
I have been having an A/C problem for a while - no air going to the windshield or feet. Heating works, although it seems less precise than before (either too hot or too cold?). I got it diagnosed, the V107 code pops up (defroster flap positioning motor). HOWEVER I had someone fix this once (temporarily, it seems) by working on something under the hood (you need to unpack the whole dashboard to get to V107) - my guess is, around the V113, as it was a very rainy, humid winter and there may have been a short circuit. Does it make sense to first replace the V113, or is it just a waste of time and money?
Could it be that although the diagnostic shows a V107 malfunction the problem is actually V113?
It would save me the hassle (cost) of accessing the V107.
