Fuel injector code painted over
2012 Audi a1 sport 1.6 TDI.
My daughter's car - been a nightmare for 10 months. Says all the injectors need replacing - bought 4 reconditioned fuel injectors but the code has been scrubbed/painted over so cannot programme . Can anyone help me get these magic codes?
I was told by injector suppliers that they don't need coding but it's quite obvious that they actually do.
May be that problem might not actually be the injectors but until we can rule them out we are stuck.
Car not been able to be used since October - she drove it, made a banging noise (enough for her to pull over), would not start afterwards. Will start but not driveable- no power and rattling. Now with a guy who knows a fair bit about cars but totally stuck until we can programme injectors - can anyone advise hot we can find the codes (painted over and no QR code to scan).
