OPEN-SKY PROBLEMS??
I received my A2 three weeks ago. Among other extras, I've
ordered the open sky system. Although I am very happy with the
car in general, I was very surprised (and disappointed) with the
following: just after I wash the car I realized that a large
area of the interior, above passenger seat belt and around the
sideguard label, was.....WET!!! Unbelievable!!! I repeated
the `test' and got the same result!!!! (and yes, windows and
roof closed! :-). Obviously something doesn't fit well in the
roof - open sky system. Of course I will take the car to the
dealer immediately, but I am afraid that they will start taking
of parts and trying to fix the problem without having a clue
what's going on... So I would very much appreciate if you could
tell me your experiences with the open sky system, as well as
your opinion on the severity of this problem and the reaction I
should expect from Audi! I should also mention that the
interior - in general - is rather `noisy' ...not of the quality I
expected. Is it the open sky that makes the (bad) difference???
