Audi is really pricing itself out of the market with the entry level car. This A3 is more then my A4 with none of the status. (I would buy this car for how it drives not how it looks, the US market isn't fond of hatchbacks.)

What makes the S-Line more aggressive? Suspension or bumpers? (both?)

The dealer told me I could buy a maintenance plan for $600. So that makes the difference about $2600.

XM is great, but Audi is really trailing the caboose with a Symphony that won't play mp3 CDs. The advantage (obvious to those in the know--this is not for you) is that a data CD will hold about 650 MB of data, which translates to about 130 songs on 1 disc. In a six-disc changer, that's 780 songs--not nearly as many as on an iPod, but still more than 80% of us would ever listen to even on a cross country trip. And, this comes...er, would come without any of the chintzy retrofits that end up making your otherwise elegant interior look completely ghetto.

Of course, if you really want all the tech features, you can always just buy an Acura with its lame *** bicycle tires and cheesy wannabe battlestar galactica dashboard. I'll take my lame CD player anyday.

I don't know why everyone hates the cassette deck so much. It's small and all, but I've stuffed at least 7 joints in there at once, and the cops would never think to look there if I ever got pulled over. Pretty ****'n nifty if you ask me!
