2018 Audi S3 INTAKE
Any suggestions on which intake to go with and is it really worth upgrading the intake. Any and all info is welcome. Was researching APR carbon fiber one. Also have APR stage plus flash on my car.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Intake
Hey there,
From what I understand about most Audi engine configurations is that aftermarket "Cold Air" intakes make a minimal difference in the output of the engine without any other supporting mods. If you get a big turbo, a larger exhaust, and some injectors, it seems worth it to get a more free flowing aftermarket intake, but otherwise the stock airbox does the job well enough and a new intake is not the best HP to cost item to upgrade. The sound of your turbo may be more audible so there's that!
With that in mind, I just found an Interesting article by ECS that goes over some Dyno runs after installing their new B9 intake. It appears they were able to get about 10 HP and 10 Ft/Lbs just by installing the intake on a stock tune but that particular intake costs over $500. A stage 1 tune costs the same and can net 40+ hp and 75+ tq.
