A1 in what should be its final form, "Honey we shrunk the Audi"
Looks like a very angry ladybug, lol.
From Leftlane-
"1.4L TFSI engine producing 150 horsepower, Power is delivered to the front wheel via an S-tronic dual-clutch gearbox. In addition, the A1 features an electric motor powering the real wheels, providing an extra 41 horsepower and 147 ft-lb of torque. In low-speed operation, the A1 can be powered completely by the electric motor. Power for the electric motor is provided by lithium-ion batteries -- which can be recharged from any power socket -- and provide a 100 km range in pure-electric mode. A1 also uses other green technologies -- such as an automatic engine stop/start and brake energy regeneration -- which help to reduce fuel consumption by 15%. Despite the A1's green image, the car can still scoot from 0-62 in a respectable 7.8 seconds.
Audi has also equipped the A1 with the same magnetic ride shock absorber technology found on the TT and R8. In combination with the concepts 18 inch wheels and 225/35 sized rubber, the A1 should rival the Mini in handling."
