Just finished installing the Modshack VTDA. Initial report: Sounds great, and the car feels lighter. When cruising, no difference in noise level. When you floor it though, you can hear the VR6 as well as a light whooshing filter on a stick sound.

Will post vag-com "butt dyno" results once I collect the data. I logged intake temperature, MAF (g/s), RPM, vehicle speed, & time. If I missed any, please let me know. The factory box is easy enough to install/remove. I posted the pre-install logs here (consisting of 6 runs averaged together, 3 going in the opposite direction). I also have the fog grills opened up already.

Interesting. I wonder how that compares to the HPA intake that is way more involved.

HPA = intake manifold, not the actual air intake.
