I spend most of my forum time on the C5 forum as an A6 Avant owner, but I saw in the new Autoweek that the A3 Cabrio is due "in 2008". Is there any news that says when the A3 Cabrio will arrive, e.g. late 2008 as a 2009 model, mid-2008 as a 2008 model or ???

I searched the archives but couldn't find anything authoritative. I've been considering selling my 350Z Touring Roadster to buy a Mini Cooper S convertible (the fact that it has a rear seat that will accomodate our large new dog is the real attraction), but an A3 Cabrio would probably make me wait.

Anyone have any news?

They had the next A4 out in 2007 for example which we know is not true.

Id add a year and a half to each line in that list.

I almost bought a MCS... it was neck and neck with the A3. But when I saw the Mini Clubman coming, I decided I'd wait a year to see how it turns out. Of course, the A3 may have grown on me too much by then. ;-)
