A3 seat not comfortable on long trips
don't know if it's me or the seat but after about an hour or so of driving, I find that my butt and legs start to ache. I tried many adjustments but to no avail. Also the lumbar support is not very supportive (for me) and the seat sides put pressure on my hip joints...maybe Audis are meant for drivers with a more narrow ****?

How much do you weigh?
I have the sport seats, and have made numerous 4 hour trips and one 1200 mile dash through New England, all in complete comfort. Those that were sitting in the back, especially behind me...they might have a legitimate gripe. That being said, my elitest buddy, who drives an '06 M3 comp package, insists my seats are "hard" and not on par with his. To each his own, i suppose. (I will say that my 32K interior makes his 58K variant look banal)

u may want to try the premium seats. I have them in silver.
I would trade you if you wanted. I have light silver interior. the d side seat is power. i'm about 4 hours from you.
I'm on the thin side, which I've heard is more acceptable for the sport seats. you're not the 1st to complain about lumbar with sport seats on long drives.

I love my premium seats.
We drove from Boston to Toronto and back in the same week, last summer.
At no point were the seats uncomfortable. We were able to drive non-stop from Niagara to home, with only quick gas stops.
