Anyone have their Intake Manifold Runner Control replaced - TFSI common issue on VW?
After 4 days from having the I3 ECM update performed, I had the following codes thrown and the MIL stuck on.
012599 - Intake Manifold Runner Control: Basic Setting not Completed
P3137 - 001 - Upper Limit Exceeded - Intermittent
008196 - Intake Manifold Flap; Bank 1: Stuck Open
P2004 - 008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent - MIL ON
The dealer has to order the part. According to Bentley, it looks like a lot of work. They have to remove the intake manifold and the fuel rail, replace the runner motor, and recalibrate the sensor.
I get a free loaner. I wonder what it will be - hmmm....

I just got this too
P3137 - 001 - Upper Limit Exceeded - Intermittent
P2004 - 008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent - P3138
P0642
They ordered the motor which is on backorder.. maybe I should have let them keep the car and get me closer to the lemon law... this car has been back at audi 6+ times in the first year..
hopefully all the stuff that would break, breaks early.. i couldnt imagine paying for all these defects once warranty is up.
good luck everyone!
