Audi A3 2011 random injector circuit errors and limp-mode
Hey All,
[2011 AudiA3 Sportback 1.6 Tdi Attraction Hatchback]
Around the start of April all the bulbs on my passenger side failed, after attempting to change the bulbs to no avail I did some reading on this site and found it was a melted F16 30A fuse which is apparently a common issue.
After fixing that, about a month later the car went into limp mode an hour and a half away from home, and I took it to the nearest mechanic who said it was an injector problem and the injector number 3 needed to be replaced.
That was replaced but then a week after that, the car went into limp mode again, I restarted the car out of limp-mode and I took it to my mechanic who said the error was p0201 Cylinder 1 - Injector Circuit - passive/sporadic
he cleared the error, performed a service and sent me on my way.
last week the car went into limp-mode again, this time p02024 Cylinder 4 - Injector Circuit - passive/sporadic.
my mechanic said the injectors and fuel system were fine and had checked the wiring but is now out of ideas on what the problem is suggesting electrical or computer.
I have the car booked into Audi next week but that is going to cost half a grand to just look at the car.
Hopeful someone else has experienced this and what the solution was?
It seems to happen in the evenings driving home
Thanks
