So basically you offered them something below invoice [$28K + 8.25% = $30.3K] and they came with only $700 over invoice. Unless they are really desperate to get rid of this car, it still sounds too good to me.

More like a teaser to get you in and work some extras on you
like bs protection, or alarms, etc. Anyway, let us know how it worked. If it comes to what you wish, tell them you can bring more customers!

Yea, of course. But I just got another email from him with the same numbers. Everything done, out the door, $31K. Show up with a check for that amount, we are done.
