DSG reverting to automatic mode

Is there any way to prevent the DSG from automatically defaulting to automatic mode when the car stops?

Even in manual mode, the stinkin' thing reverts to automatic mode every time I stop at a light.

It will auto set to 1st gear every time u fully stop.

Are you sure you are in manual mode?

S is not manual mode. Make sure you shift to the right side when you are in D.

it does not revert to auto mode, just downshifts for you, which i really like :)

if yours is switching to auto mode even in ur in MAnual, then i guess there is a problem..

I think there's some confusion about how you're getting into "manual"--

you're using the paddles, right?? But you're not moving the shift selector lever to the right from the "D" position into the "+/-" manual gate??
