Good for you, but why do you feel the need to make such a post? You got your car for less and that's all that should matter to you. He's free to ask whatever amount he wants and more power to him if he gets his asking price.

This forum is probably not among the best places to advertize a car for sale, particularly a new car. Of course a seller may ask whatever amount he/she wishes to ask. Presumably people who frequent this forum are better informed about current transaction pricing than some.

He asked if we didn't like the car...figured that was him asking for my opinion. I just informed him his price was a little high for a USED car.
