How much off MSRP did you get from your dealer?
Curious to see what deals various dealers are making, so I can leverage. I ordered the car today (Black/black, DSG, Premium, Nav+ Sound), which came out to $31,735 MSRP. Final sale price ended up being $30,684. That's about half-way between invoice ($29,539) and MSRP.

This what was on the buyer's order form aside from the title tax
1. Online Systems Filing Fee: $10
2. Dealer's Business License Tax: $70.22
3. Processing Fee for Consumer Services: $295
4. Registration New Tags Transfer State: $83
I haven't purchased a car in a long time (since '97). Do the above seem right to you?

At least a couple of those fees (Processing Fee for Consumer Services???) look like junk fees. I ordered my car for August delivery, and I got $500 off sticker with NO additional fees, other than the standard $720 delivery charge that is on every A3. I have bought two other Audis from the same dealer, and we had a candid discussion about costs, and I feel like I got a fair deal. Sounds like overall, you did too.

Just to keep people honest, how about scanning sales contracts.
Sure, blank out the personal data, but keep the numbers intact, along with trade-in details.
Nothing used to give me such a chuckle as when I sold a car for one sum, only to see the customer later post online with an entirely different "deal." So much ego tied up in negotiation;-)
