Does anyone here have a custom sub enclosure that takes up a minimal amount of space in the boot? I have an alpine rs-12 in a manufactured plexi window box, and it is killing my boot space. I know there is a less than effecient subwoofer in the 1/4 panel back there, but what I am looking for is an enclosure that fits snugly against both 1/4 panels in the boot, yet will accept an 8" or 10" sub. Show me what ya got mates. Lets start a pic thread of audio enhancements. Show and tell, you know the curriculum....

Hey man your car is tight. I hope to get mines there someday. Right now, my first change is to get the 18" wheels w/ 235-40s tires. Does anyone know of any issues with this wheel and tire package scrubbing? I know Audi recommends 225-40s on 18" rims.

answer me this-did you just run the factory sub wire to the new sub?
i dont use the back seat for people so i'm thinking about a bass tube on the passenger side rear seat floor and replace all the speakers with better quality ones. Dont want to mess with the electronics so hopefully the stock amps put out enough

Memphis10-
I am running 225/35/19's with KW Variant 2's and I have 2 bumpstops per side round back, and only 1 bump stop per side up front. It has rubbed the wheel liner 2 times in 6 weeks and barely at that. The new rims are 8" wide as well. So your 235/40 set up should be just fine. The real defining factor is the "shoulder" or tires corner. If it is too square it may rub. You can always play it safe with 225/40/18 then you'll have no probs. A bunch of the people on here are running that exact set up.

Finch-
Yes, I ran all new cable to the amp on the box. It was an easy procedure, and the enhanced low end coupled with the Bose system has a very full sound.
