Sorry to be a smart a** with the loggin name, but I don't believe we should be quiet about other sites. I admit that in the past certain members have overdone it a tad, but if a person is looking for advice or information that they can't get here, there should be no reason why we can't direct them to another site. I mean, if I have a question about something, I want to get as much feedback as possible. And if I'm gonna try and help someone else, I'm gonna try and GIVE as much feedback as possible. I don't think this site should be used soley to advertise for another, that would be wrong. But if I can't answer someone's question, but know somebody on another site who CAN, then it's only fair to direct people to other sites.

Default Steve, I really thought ...

...you could take a defeat like a pro but it seem you're just a little sad case.

your BBS sucks and Matt's scrips are ****e. FACE IT !

Just go back to your Yanks in the A4 forums and crawl back under your rock.

I guess one of the good things about owning an A3 or S3 is that you're sure not to live in the "states" . aaaaarrrrghh

Default Wando didn't kill the A3/S3 Forum...

It was allready dead when he found it. People just wouldn't realise that, and kept on posting on a dead site. See, there wasn't any US presence to save it in the first place. Take a look at the TT forum. It should be renamed to "Zaino/Zymol" forum instead. Hopefully, the S3 will never be imported in the States.

Amen.

Steve
This is the first time I have ever posted to this forum, and I would just like to say thank you

Thanks you for letting me realise how lucky I was to stumble across sport-3.net instead of this festering bbs.

Had I come here first, I may never have bought an S3, since my impression would have been that audi's are only driven by **** Retentive ***** like yourself.

I have read a considerable number of posts on this site since the end of last year, but found one of 2 things.
1) All the really good posts are made by those people I now consider my friends on the www.sport-3.net bbs,,,, or
2) The posts are a load of S_H_I_T_E

I can only liken both boards to chalk and cheese, black and white, wet and dry, and the Titanic and,,,,,,, well any ship that hasn't sunk.

Given that this will be my first and final post, i'd just like to say a big thank you to all at audiworld who have offered so little, and to all at my new home who offer so much.

Oh, yes, and just in case you think this is a made up account by someone having a go, why not pop over to sport-3 and look for my name? I've made lots of posts over there, unlike here where its not worth the time taken to wipe ............ can't be bothered.

Maybe instead of getting mad Steve S, you should try to get even, by say, oh I don't know - improving things on this board?
It's not as if you didn't have any warning there was another board setting up - Ownly's been posting here for months about it, but your complacency has cost you all but a few people posting here.
Enough people told you they didn't like the board's format, you didn't change anything, Ownly set up a board, listened to what people wanted and now there are 200+ members happily forming a community (thats community - not commercial opportunity. BTW - ad revenue suffering a bit round here recently is it?).
Give people what they want, they'll support you. If not, don't be too surprised when they go elsewhere.

You ARE the weakest link - goodbye.

You know it makes sense......

Default For the record...

It was I who setup the "www.sport-3.net" profile, I did it to be a smart ***, plain and simple. Mr Moderator, you may kill it if you so desire, I will not use it again.

I will add, however, that while some comments are a tad harsh, you should take note. It is obvious that people are NOT getting what they want out of this forum. Perhaps, instead of bitching about posted links, you could DO SOMETHING to bring people back.

Have a nice day

Why the big problem Steve, correct me if i'm wrong, but I thought a4.org was setup in order to provide enthusiasts info regarding all aspects of their cars and suchlike. By branching out to cater for all models and users in different locations, you have lost one small group, but clearly still appeal to the masses in other forums.

Surely, with the mentality of a4.org and audiworld in mind, do you let the poor souls post messages here on the A3 forum without getting the info they deserve, do you really think they will return again and again when there is such poor feedback, why not allow them the info they are seeking by using another site - you lose traffic either way, but at least allowing us to post links to the now definative A3/S3 forum people can fulfill their passion, or have we forgotten that and gone all commercial.

Shame things have had to come to this as AW provided a great resource in its day for the minority of non American users - but a bit of understanding is not too much to ask.

Regards

David
