Hi, apologies if this is in the wrong area but I’m new here I couldn’t find where else to post.

Anyway, I have an Audi A3 1.8t 2001 and have been experiencing issues with the oil pressure warning light (the red one on the main screen accompanied by 3 beeps). I’ve had it in to the garage and the pick up pipe has been replaced to eliminate sludge on the screen being the cause, and a new oil filter and pressure sensor have also been fitted but still experiencing the light coming on at 1500rpm and staying on although the car runs perfect and sounds just the same as it always has. They’ve put it down to an electrical fault as the car has been running perfect even after those jobs for 1300+ miles but I’m wondering if anyone else has any insights in to this as I can’t use the screen for range/temperature any more because it is always occupied with the oil can light.

Thanks in advance for any ideas, I’m wondering if there’s something common to check if the error isn’t actually affecting the car.
