Please Help!!!
Hello Audi Fans!
So I'll keep this short... I went into test drive a S3 with full intentions of buying one.
I loved everything about it EXCEPT the pause/lag from a stop.
The sales rep tells me it's the transmission which improves over time.
Any insight/advice?
I really want to love this car but that lag is a showstopper.

Not sure what you mean by "lag". My wife has a 2015 S3 with the 6 speed DSG transmission and I have a 2013 RS5 with the 7 speed DSG. Never noticed a "lag" driving either one. The S3 has a turbo engine that sometimes seems to lag a little until the turbo spools up, but should not be significant enough to notice in everyday driving.
