Default Throttle body

You could try the basic straight forward thing first if you have diagnostics throttle body adjustment.

There should be some faults stored which will help guide you to the problem you won't be able to takle this with out diagnostics.

To adjust the throttle flap you need diagnostics
go into
ENGINE 01
BASIC SETTINGS 04
CHANNEL 060 (for cable throttle)
CHANNEL 098 (for fly by wire throttle)

When this problem happens it usally means that it needs cleaning more than anything.

If this dosn't work try easing learn't values in engine control unit

ADAPTION 10
CHANNEL 00 (erase lernt values)

All though the fact is that you have modified the engine and this can cause problems If the above dosn't work then take it to the person who has chiped the car and have them look at it.

Default Re: Throttle body

Hi,

I had a similar problem and brought the car to 3 different Audi dealers. None of them could figure it out but when I brought it to a small independent garage, literally 2 guys up a laneway, they said it was a dirty throttle body, they promptly cleaned it out and she's been humming steadily since.
