Default Light? With the Pcar or Audi? Steering definitely not light with Pcars.

In fact it's strange to get in my A3 after driving the Cayman and vice-versa.

Default Strange but I'm using standard default steering settings on Audi cars

so compared to Porsches they are much lighter. My Cayman has a much more solid and heavier weight to the steering but more precise.

Try an older (pre '89) 911; you'll feel like you've found God's own steering boost setup.

Default by the way...

if you haven't taken a Cayman S for a drive you should try it. You may like it! I'm still surprised to hear about the steering on your friend's 996 GT3 as I can't imagine why it would be light. How does the clutch feel?

Default I've been lucky to rent a Boxster in the past and really liked it for flogging on a mountain road.

Can only imagine a Cayman is even better! Not so exciting engine note, but that's not part of the Porsche package

The 996 GT3 clutch is pretty stiff - and I speak from macho Italian car standpoint;-)

Default oh yeah..you'd definitely like it and see a big difference....

and the engine note is great on the CS actually. Engage Sport Mode and let her rip and it's loads O fun! Gotta love mid-engine cars!

Imagine the Boxster you drove and make it twice as stiff and more horsepower PASM is great too! As for the GT3's clutch being stiff, if it's anything like the 997 Turbo..that is stiff.
