I noticed the other day when descending into town my transmission felt slight jerkiness. This going down a slight grade. Has anyone experienced this before?
I bought the car used and don't know when the last time transmission fluids where changed. Or transmission filter. I would assume this is step one.

Having the fluids changed out today. Next time around I will try it myself. Vendor in this forum where I can buy filter, fluids and funnel?

Yes, can confirm changing the fluid makes a huge difference in shifting smoothness. I bought my transmission fluid change kit from https://www.blauparts.com/ I really like their site - super helpful if you need to call them. I'm lucky to live near a self service garage where I can rent a space with a car hoist - standing under the car makes this a much easier job.

Talked with my Audi mechanic and he feels the same slight jerkiness when descending the same stretch of road with his Audi. Well anyway he told me not to change the transmission fluid till 100K. He check the fluid and it was fine. Levels where all good. I will just roll with it. Sounds like the transmission get confused on what gear to be in.
