Default Tough choice - went M3!

....no quattro offered and a price difference greater than originally thought - went with Mazda. Audi is a great family car with the A4/S4. This one replaced the P5. Cheers!

Default I hope their quality got better...

My sister-in-law's 4 year old protege is falling apart. Well, at least it sounds that way.

Default Good luck.

I test drove the Mazda3 5-door last year. Nice, but not what I was looking for. Tranny was so-so. Interior was meh. No free maintenance. Exterior styling was ok. Too many Mazdas running around here. Performance was so-so.

What it did have going for it was just pure value. A loaded one (with Navi and Xenons) was still below my A3 2.0T DSG w/ Premium.

But, I'm more than happy with my decision. And did I mention that DSG only came in the Audi?

Different strokes for different folks. Have fun with your new car.

Default Like I said, the Mazda3 has value going for it.

$10K is not chump change, so if you're shopping for a monthly payment, it's a no brainer to get the Mazda.

Default agreed, but lets hope Audi pulls through next month...

I of course would love to have the A3 over the Mazda 3.
