yes Leslie...the latest A3 has 5x112 bolt pattern...
I have CH's also these days and I have that idea in the back of my mind also...they are currently on a Passat...
The latest A3 has the same bolt pattern as the Golf mkV, and Passat/A4/S4/etc...

nope. needed a wagon for a big doggie.
got a c320 wagon instead. 
i've got an order for an avus and red a3, and will decide when they get here. the reason i am even looking at a red car, is that i loved how good your red avant looked! seeing the a3 sportback in europe, it's like having a mini avant...
