What's the stupidest thing you've done in your car? I'll go first.

I had opened the garage door about two feet to vent the garage while I ran back inside
the house to get something I had forgotten. My mind else where, and already remembering I had opened the garage door, I simply put the car in reverse and started to back out. Just and I turned to look over my shoulder, I saw the garage door.
BAM! ****! Pull the car foward. No scratches to my bumper, but the garage door has a cease in it on the inside, and from the outside you can see that it every so slightly bows out.
could have been much worser.

I witnessed someone pull out of a garage, only looking at one side...
and scrrrrrrrrrrrrrrape--they gouged the passenger door rather nicely against the side of the garage opening. They had backed out too fast not to notice soon enough before the damage was done.
I almost did the same thing--only my mirror got whacked instead of my passenger door. Thankfully, the A3 mirrors fold back rather nicely. Only minor scuffing to the edges. ;-)

Pretty much.
I expected the worse when i got out of the car.
But luckily no damage to the car at all. The bike was in a fork mount carrier which bent, and also broke the steel frame of the bike. So it was a good excuse to buy a new frame.
Oh yeah and I knocked some paint off the house above the garage door.

Not stupidest thing done in the car, but...
I dropped my motorcycle(600 lb. BMW R1200RT) onto the front end of my A3. I was about to set it down on the side-stand when the bike began leaning away from me. I tried keeping it upright, but I lost the tug o'war. I just sat there for a minute; afraid to lift the bike up to see what whas underneath.
To my surprise, there was no damge; to either the car or the bike.

That's easy
Left the handbrake only halfway-applied (stupid center armrest!) and parked it out of gear in my driveway.
Woke up the next morning to find my car *across the street*, in a small ravine, backed up against a tree.
D'oh.
