will A4 wheels from the sport package fit on my A3

i am looking at a set of winter wheels from an A4 (sport package car) they are from a B6 and are 5X112 and o think the offset is 45, but i could be wrong.

Diameter? I have heard that anything less than 17" will not clear the brakes.

i'd like to know for sure before i buy them

they are 17X7.5 i think 45 offset....that should work right? i'd like to know for sure before i buy them.

they will fit, but most likely the tires they come with may cause some rubbing.

then i guess it is a no go....i don't like rubbing and am not willing to risk it....i was just looking for a cheap pair of winter tires/wheels...thanks
